Summer Reading Programs 2009


Be Creative LogoThe West Branch Public Library is proud to announce the Summer Reading Programs for the Summer of 2009! This year, there are programs for all ages. Newborns to those in grade 5 may participate in the Children's Summer Reading Program where reading earns prize levels - prize levels include small toys, candy, and books. Kids from grade 5 to senior year in high school may participate in the Teen Summer Reading Program where reading books enters you in weekly drawings - teen level prizes include signed copies of books, savings bonds, and tickets to Adventureland. There are many other programs for kids of all ages. Please refer to the summer packet given out in the Friday folders or to the online calendar here on the site for details.

The adult program centers on the goal of 5 books read between June 1st and July 31st. Finishing the goal earns prizes and enters you into drawings - prizes include gift cards to Reid's Beans, gift bags, and a free night at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort.

For more information, you may refer to the pages for both the children's and adult Summer programs, send an email to staff@westbranch.lib.ia.us, or stop in at the library. You may now sign up for all programs at the library.
