Hello.  I moved to West branch as of the beginning of 2007 to become the director at the West Branch Public library, originally coming from Kirkwood, IL, a small town about half an hour East of Burlington, IA.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois and my Master's Degree in Library Science from Indiana University.  I am currently a lvl VI certified librarian in the state of Iowa.

My reading tastes involve a huge range of material from Thrillers to Stephen King to romance.  I always have trouble saying what my favorite book is because I've read so many good ones that it's hard to put some ahead of others.  Some of those good ones include, but are not limited to, the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich, I, Robot by Isaac Asimov, and A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking.
