The library discourages traveling in severe weather. Patrons will not be penalized for returning items late due to adverse weather conditions.

In the event of severe weather, the library will follow the following procedures:

Severe weather: The library will close at the discretion of the library director based on condition of roads, visibility, and expected duration of severe weather. (Please see Safe Child Policy in regards to children left at the library during severe weather)

Tornado warning: All patrons and staff will be moved to the restrooms until an all clear issued by the national weather service.
