About Homebound Delivery

The goal of the West Branch Public Library is to make the materials and services accessible to all residents of West Branch and the surrounding areas and communities. To help do this, we are providing delivery of anything in our collection to those members of our community which are unable to leave their homes.

The way the service will work is that every Tuesday morning, a representative of the library will drop off a group of books, movies, and/or music CDs and pick up whatever is ready to be returned.  We will try meet any material requests provided to us by the participant.  Otherwise, we will select books that we think the participant would enjoy to the best of our abilities.

Limits on the number of items and checkout duration will be the same as with in-library use.

Participation

The only guideline for using this program is that participants must actually be homebound and unable to make it to the library in person.

To participate in the program, please contact Nick at the library at (319)643-2633 or nshimmin@westbranch.lib.ia.us
